Today, the word "title" doesn't actually feel right, it feels pretentious. Being an artist isn't a status, or a confinement. It's more like a book cover that warns people that there's a whole story inside waiting to be revealed. It's a permission slip that allows me to let go of any and all of my worries and fears or judgment, because being an artist, to me, means being free to be my unique self, in all my weird glory, as it suits me to be...full of all sorts of emotions and vibrations that hold my cells together. And now I am free to express all of this in my work, creating feelings outside of my own body, to share with others in hopes that they too will feel something, anything, and know that they too are here on this planet to love and experience life deeply and fully. We are all here to feel love!
